Diploma in Housekeeping

Diploma in Housekeeping Operations is an 18-month specialty course that provides students with theoretical knowledge and practical expertise to make candidates expert in handling and managing all tasks related to housekeeping management which include managing and supervising cleaning, dusting, health and hygiene, safety, sanitation, laundry, flower decoration and other duties. The course, conducted over a one-year period (2 semesters) followed by Internship experience for 6 months in the hospitality & tourism industry, prepare candidates for managing the housekeeping department in hotels, restaurants, lodges, guest houses, cruise liners, industrial facilities and more. The program is offered jointly by the National Council for Hotel Management and Catering Technology (NCHMCT), Noida, and the Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU), New Delhi (designated by UGC as a University of Excellence).

Eligibility

Higher Secondary passed (10+2 passed) with English as a subject.
