Lokmanya Trust was formed on 30^th September 2009 vide Reg. No. E-344 (Sindhudurg), with registered address as Rameshwar Plaza, Near Moti Talav, Sawantwadi, Dist. Sindhudurg, Maharashtra – 416510, with the primary purpose of the trust being as follows:
• To do social welfare work
• To establish, open, conduct, manage, control, maintain and aid educational institutions at various levels such as the pre-primary, secondary, higher secondary colleges, Snr. Colleges etc. level of pursuit of under-graduates and post-graduates of various disciplines such as Arts, Science, Commerce, Management , vocational courses, Law, Pharmacy, Medical, Paramedical, Sports, Cultural and to develop character of the students as well as to educate them in physical, cultural and technological faculty and to establish, control and maintain institutions for computer education, typing, agricultural, technical, vocational training courses and every possible discipline of education.
• To publish journals, periodicals, news bulletins, books and other literature and to conduct seminars, conference, workshops, etc. at Local, Regional, State, National and International levels and to hold orientation, refresher courses for teachers on behalf of the university and UGC authorities
