About Mai Institute of Hotel Management
Mai Institute of Hotel Management (MAIIHM) has been established by Lokmanya Trust in Malgaon, Sawantwadi, under the visionary leadership of Shri Kiran Dhondopant Thakur, also known as Mama, who is the Chairman of the Trust and also serves as the Chairman of both the ‘Lokmanya Multipurpose Cooperative Society Ltd’ and the ‘Tarun Bharat Trust.’
The MAIIHM Campus, spread over 3.5 acres of pristine land with lush green surroundings, is located in Malgaon, Sawantwadi, a small and picturesque town in Sindhudurg district in Maharashtra, an aesthetic land of artists and an integral part of the Konkan region offering degree, diploma and certificate level courses in Hotel/Hospitality Management.
At MAIIHM, we embrace experiential learning. Our teaching approach offers a diverse array of interactive sessions, case studies, and exposure to cutting-edge culinary and hospitality practices. Equipped with state-of-the-art facilities, our curriculum includes guest lectures by industry leaders and field trips, providing invaluable insights into real-world challenges. The institute is affiliated to the National Council for Hotel Management & Catering Technology (NCHMCT), Noida, which is under the jurisdiction of the Ministry of Tourism, Government of India, and is designated as a Private IHM, with the degree and diplomas being awarded by Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi (JNU).
