Admission Procedure

Note:

o Student interested in undergoing Hotel Management courses at MAIIHM should procure this Admission Application Brochure for Rs. 500/-
o Fill up all the details requested in the enclosed Admission Application Form.
o Submit the Admission Application Form along with photocopies of the following documents:
o Class 10th and Class 12th Mark Sheets
o Class 10th and Class 12th Pass Certificates
o Transfer Certificate / Leaving Certificate
o Migration Certificate
o Aadhar Card, Address Proof
o Date of Birth Proof (Birth Certificate / Class 10th Mark Sheet)
o Student may also opt to fill up the application form and submit the same online and make the payment on the online mode.
o Appear for Personal Interview to be conducted by MAIIHM admission team
o Selected candidate shall be issued Admission Offer Letter from MAIIHM
o Candidate desiring admission in BSCHHA of NCHMCT should note the instructions below.

1. B. Sc. Hospitality & Hotel Administration

Admissions in the 3-year B.Sc. HHA course are done based upon the rank one gets in the All-India Joint Entrance Exam (JEE) conducted by NCHMCT, Noida, every year. The forms are available from December which can be filled and submitted, online and in the Institutes as well. The JEE takes place in the last week of April followed by the results in the third week of May. There are three rounds of counseling under which choice filling takes place online. Once you get the college that you want, you must go to the college and do the documentation. Once the documentation is done & the Fees paid; the academic session begins in the third week of July.

Eligibility Criteria for NCHM JEE-2024

Eligibility requirements:
    • A candidate should have passed 10+2 system of Senior Secondary Examination or its equivalent with English as one of the subjects, from a recognized Educational Board.
    • Candidate must have passed English as a subject of study (core/elective/functional) in the qualifying examination.
    • Those appearing in 10+2 or equivalent examination can also appear in NCHM JEE 2024 on provisional basis. Provisional admission will stand cancelled if proof of having passed the qualifying examination (10+2 or its equivalent) is not submitted at the time of counselling or at the time of admission or latest by 30.09.2024
    • The offer of admission is subject to verification of original certificates / documents.
    List of examinations equivalent to 10+2:
      • Plus Two level examination in the 10+2 pattern of Senior Secondary education of any recognized Central/State Board, such as Central Board of Secondary Education and Council for Indian School Certificate Examination or State Boards of Secondary Education.
      • Intermediate or two-year Pre-University Examination conducted by a recognized Board/ University.
      • General Certificate Education (GCE) Examination (London/Cambridge/Sri Lanka) at the Advanced (A) level.
      • High School Certificate Examination of the Cambridge University.
      • Any Public School / Board / University Examination in India or in a foreign country recognized by the Council of Boards of School Education (COBSE) / Association of Indian Universities (AIU) as equivalent to 10+2 pattern of Senior Secondary Education.
      • Senior Secondary School Examination conducted by National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS) as well as State Board of Open Schooling with a minimum of five subjects including English as one of the Subjects.
      • S.C. Vocational Examination approved by NCVT and SCVT of concerned State/UT.

      2. Diploma in Food Production / Front Office Operations / Housekeeping Operations

      Admissions in the 1½-year Diploma courses offered by MAIIHM in association with NCHMCT are done based upon a personal interview conducted by the institute during the months of April to August.

      Eligibility requirements:
      • A candidate should have passed 10+2 system of Senior Secondary Examination or its equivalent with English as one of the subjects, from a recognized Educational Board.
      • Those appearing in 10+2 or equivalent examination can also apply for the Diploma courses; selected candidates shall be given admission on provisional basis. Provisional admission will stand cancelled if proof of having passed the qualifying examination (10+2 or its equivalent) is not submitted at the time of admission or latest by 30.09.2024
      • There is no age bar.

      3. Advanced Certificate in Hospitality Operations / Certificate in Food Production & Pâtisserie / Certificate in Food & Beverage Service

      Admissions in the 1½-year Advanced Certificate in Hospitality Operations course and the 1-year Certificate in Food Production & Pâtisserie / Certificate in Food & Beverage Service courses offered by MAIIHM are done based upon a personal interview conducted by the institute during the months of April to August.

      Eligibility requirements:
      • A candidate should have passed Class 10 Board Examination with English as one of the subjects, from a recognized Educational Board.
      • Those appearing in Class 10 Board Examination can also apply for the Certificate courses; selected candidates shall be given admission on provisional basis. Provisional admission will stand cancelled if proof of having passed the qualifying examination (Class 10th Board Exam.) is not submitted at the time of admission or latest by 30.09.2024
      • There is no age bar.
