Christmas Cheer Celebrations 2024 was organized by Mai Institute of Hotel Management, Sawantwadi, in association with its sister institute, Jai Hind College of Science, Salgaon, Kudal, to celebrate the wonderful festive moments of this season and also to provide an avenue for the students to get first-hand experience in hospitality and event management.

The festive spirit came alive as students and faculty joined together for a joyful evening filled with fun, laughter, and holiday cheer! From vibrant decorations to delightful treats, the celebration was truly magical.

The event featured a student band who presented wonderful Christmas carols and other songs, DJ, dances by students and also a professional band presenting a musical extravaganza ‘Swar Milan’. The highlight of the evening’s fun and gaiety was the magic created by a very loveable Santa Claus, who got everybody to come on stage and dance with him and then gifting chocolates to everyone present.

The food stalls set up by the students offered a diverse variety of food and beverages – mocktails, milk shakes & cold coffee, various lip-smacking chaats, chicken and veg. grilled dishes served with rumali roti, burgers & pizzas, Oriental dishes and a fantastic collection of pastries, brownies, cookies and plum cakes – all were lapped up by the crowd and appreciated!
